HAMMOND – The Innovation Hub at Southeastern Louisiana University’s Sims Memorial Library is hosting a free event with two date options titled “Starting, Recording, and Distributing Your First Podcast.” Scheduled March 22 at 3 p.m. and April 6 at 11 a.m., both sessions are available in person at the iHub in Sims Library or virtually online.
Communication Professor Joe Burns, who runs the “Rock School” podcast, among others, will host the hour-long sessions. Participants will gain enough information to get started creating a national podcast or a small one for personal or professional needs.
The event is open to all Southeastern faculty, staff and students, as well as the community at large. Interested individuals should RSVP to attend at southeastern.edu/ihub.
