Follow these best practices to login to your Southeastern Gmail to avoid errors:
Don’t know your Gmail username?
Your Gmail username is your Southeastern email address. SLU uses the format [email protected]. Each email address is assigned upon admission to Southeastern. If you do not know or have forgotten your email address, Southeastern provides a convenient online tool called Wnumber/Email Login Lookup that can be used to easily attain this information. **Note: Don’t forget to check the box indicating “I am not a robot”.

Don’t remember your password?
If you forget your Southeastern Account (Gmail) password, you must get your password reset before you can get logged into Gmail or any of the other Southeastern systems like Workday, SLU Secure Wireless Network, and Canvas.
Use Okta to set up your account password online so that you can manage it easily online yourself!
The other option to reset your password is to contact the Student Technology Center on our main campus in Hammond, LA and provide an official, valid picture identification in person or via a scheduled Google Meet Video Chat so that we can reset your password for you. For those choosing the Video Chat option, make sure that you are in a location with a strong internet connection and good lighting so that your picture ID can be viewed clearly. Important to know: The recommended way to access our systems is through your SLU Gmail account… (or you can choose to navigate to each of our systems separately which can are found under Quick Links and using your Gmail username and password to login) Once logged into your SLU Gmail, navigate to the “waffle cone” icon (nine dots that form a square in the upper righthand corner) scroll down to find a number of useful SLU system apps to conveniently access from there.
