Grads Become Lions For Life

Southeastern Louisiana University conferred degrees on 1,098 graduates on Saturday, May 12, at the University’s spring commencement ceremony.

For their inaugural event as newly minted alumni, these graduates were invited to a party full of food, music, games, and even a mobile ice cream parlor. Lion Legacy VIPs (members of the University’s first student-driven initiative of giving back in honor of their time at Southeastern) were treated to an exclusive pre-party complete with margaritas and a drawing for a Southwest Airlines gift card.

This annual event, titled Lion4Life Launch and hosted by the Alumni Association, attracted several hundred celebrating new alumni.
