LSBDC to hold seminar on government selling

The Louisiana Small Business Development Center (LSBDC) at Southeastern Louisiana University will hold a free seminar in Hammond March 17 designed to help individuals interested in selling to the government.

The Louisiana Small Business Development Center (LSBDC) at Southeastern Louisiana University will hold a free seminar in Hammond March 17 designed to help individuals interested in selling to the government.
     Titled “Selling Successfully to the Government,” the seminar is co-sponsored by Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) and will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at the Southeast Louisiana Business Center, located at 1514 Martens Dr.
     Topics to be covered include doing business with the state of Louisiana, how to locate government markets, how the government buys, different government programs, eligibility requirements, registrations, procurement readiness, developing a proven marketing strategy, developing an effective capability statement, and more.
     Guest speaker for the workshop is PTAC Program Manager Cindy Carrier.
