HAMMOND – Retired Banking Executive Stan Dameron, left, was presented with the Loyal Lion Award at the Southeastern Louisiana University Foundation Board meeting held recently. Presented by Southeastern President John L. Crain, the award is given to an individual who has provided excellent service to the university. Dameron has been an active Southeastern Foundation Board member since 1995 and was recently appointed the Commissioner for the Office of Financial Institutions for the State of Louisiana. He is one of only four individuals to receive the award.
