HAMMOND – The Southeastern Louisiana University Office of Graduate Studies is hosting a live, virtual open house for the Master of Science in Integrated Science and Technology (ISAT) Program with a focus area in data science. The virtual open house is scheduled Thursday, June 17, at 11:30 a.m.
“This is a general information session where prospective students can learn first-hand from faculty and staff in a live format about the program, courses, admission process and scholarships,” said Director of Graduate Studies John Boulahanis.
The ISAT- data science master’s degree is designed for seasoned information technology professionals seeking to advance careers and accelerate achieving organizations’ business goals. Students will work with faculty mentors in data science, culminating in student-driven theses/research projects, Boulahanis explained.
The real world ready program includes 33 credit hours with degree completion in two years or less. Additional highlights of the program include on-line and remote learning classes, reasonable cost, acceptance of employer-provided education benefits, and a waiver of GRE requirements for qualified students.
Applications for admission to the program are now being accepted. Students can begin the program during the fall, spring or summer semesters.
