HAMMOND – Officials at Southeastern Louisiana University recently met with officials from St. Augustine High School in New Orleans to form a partnership to recruit their students to Southeastern.
During the meeting, participants discussed opportunities at Southeastern for St. Augustine students, such as the EXCEL Scholarship, the Southeastern Priority Scholarship, the Southeastern Promise, Project PULL, and financial aid packages.
“The goal of the partnership is to increase the number of St. Augustine students who select Southeastern as their college of choice,” said Chief Enrollment Management Officer Kay Maurin. “We have a history of high achieving St. Augustine graduates and would like to increase that number at Southeastern. Our programs and services are a great fit for their graduates, and we’re excited to be able to work closely with their president and academic advisor ensuring that more Purple Knights become proud members of the Lion Pride.”
