HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University’s Sims Memorial Library has rescheduled one of two free events titled “Starting, Recording, and Distributing Your First Podcast.”
Originally scheduled March 22 at 3 p.m., the first date had to be rescheduled due to a weather-related campus closure. The new date is April 5, at 3 p.m., with April 6 at 11 a.m. a remaining option as well. Both sessions are available in person at the iHub in Sims Library or virtually online.
Communication Professor Joe Burns, who runs the “Rock School” podcast, among others, will host the hour-long sessions. Participants will gain enough information to get started creating a national podcast or a small one for personal or professional needs.
The event is open to all Southeastern faculty, staff and students, as well as the community at large. Interested individuals should RSVP to attend at southeastern.edu/ihub.
