HAMMOND – The Department of Computer Science at Southeastern Louisiana University will close out the spring series of the Industry Connect Distinguished Lecturer Series with a lecture titled “From Southeastern to Amazon.” Guest lecturer is Software Development Engineer in the Device, Digital and Alexa Support organization at Amazon Tyler Becker.
The presentation is scheduled Thursday, April 28, at 4 p.m., and is free and open to the public. Guests are welcome to attend in person at the Computer Science and Technology Building Envoc Lab (limited seating), or virtually via Google Meet. Becker graduated from Southeastern in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in computer science in the science concentration. He has experience in the health, defense and oil and gas industries.
