HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University’s Columbia Theatre for the Performing Arts will present a murder mystery dinner theatre event titled “Murder! At the Disco.” Scheduled Sept. 15-17, the production will begin at 7:30 p.m. each night.
When describing the production, Columbia Theatre Director Jim Winter said for patrons to break out the polyester and platform shoes and get ready to party like there’s no tomorrow.
“Unfortunately, for some of our guests there really won’t be a tomorrow,” Winter said. “It seems somebody doesn’t like jumpsuits and gold chains…someone who isn’t afraid to get a little blood on the disco ball. Featuring the amazing local talents of Johnny Chauvin, TJ Maggio and Jim Helms, this disco is to die for!”
One Thirteen Executive Chef Ryan Haigler returns to the Columbia Theatre with a delicious meal, complete with some Candlestick Bakery desserts to keep guests well-fed as they help catch a killer.
Ticket prices are $100 and are available at the Columbia Theatre box office, located at 220 E. Thomas Street in downtown Hammond, or by calling 985-549-2787.
