As a freshman nursing major, Gloria Harrison started becoming intrigued by the business aspects of healthcare. After switching to health systems management, she knew the combination of healthcare and business curriculum it provided—along with the flexibility to take most classes online while working as a patient safety technician for North Oaks Health System—was her perfect fit.
Today she is well on her way to achieving her ultimate dream of operating multiple healthcare clinics that focus on meeting the health and wellness needs of the community.

Give back to the community as an administrative / protocol team volunteer for Beacon Light Baptist Church.
Gain hands-on finance experience while helping people enhance their credit scores as a credit coach.
Apply for Southeastern’s master’s degree in population health.
