HAMMOND – The Southeastern Presidential Search Committee voted unanimously to name two finalists to present to the full Board of Supervisors for the University of Louisiana System.
The finalists are:
Sebastian van Delden, Dean, School of Sciences, Mathematics, and Engineering, The College of Charleston
William Wainwright, Chancellor, Northshore Technical Community College
The Board will hold a special meeting Thursday, April 27, to interview finalists and select the institution’s next president.
“Thanks in large part to the extensive feedback received from faculty and staff, students, and community members and university alumni, the Search Committee advanced two candidates ready to lead Southeastern into a new era of growth and success,” System President and Search Committee Chair Jim Henderson said. “The past two days on campus have reiterated what this university community needs in its next president. We are confident the Board will select a leader ideally suited to advance this institution.”
