Laney Steibing
In addition to acting in major movies and shows, recent graduate Laney Steibing is on a path to helping others as a licensed social worker.
Recent graduate Laney Steibing always knew she wanted to build a career around helping people. After initially starting Southeastern as a psychology major, her path began to take a new direction upon discovering the diversity of job opportunities that a degree in social work can provide.
Laney, who also has a passion for acting, even starring in shows and movies with acclaimed actors such as Greg Kinnear, Sylvester Stallone, and Tony Danza, is now already achieving her dream of directly helping others by interning at Children’s Hospital Behavioral Health Unit in New Orleans as part of a master’s in social work curriculum.
