Folorunsho Kykoyi

Integrative biology major Folorunsho Kukoyi has always been fascinated by the functions and interdependencies of organs in the human body. By 10th grade, biology class was her comfort zone, and she knew she wanted to become a doctor.

After seeing the challenging curriculum, family-like atmosphere, and abundance of scholarships at Southeastern, she relocated from her home country of Nigeria to Hammond in pursuit of this dream—a move that is now bringing her closer to her goal of becoming a doctor of internal medicine.
