When Elevator3 joined the Southeastern Louisiana Business Center Incubator in 2017, their mission was clear: to empower organizations through technology by delivering custom software development, mobile applications, enterprise integrations, process consulting, and powerful dashboards.

SLBC Director Wayne Ricks said during their tenure at the Business Center Incubator, Elevator3 utilized the incubator’s professional space, training rooms, and on-site Louisiana Small Business Development Center resources that gave them a practical launchpad while they built their client base and team.

“The proximity to Southeastern’s Computer Science program helped us collaborate with students and graduates who were ready to contribute on day one,” Co-Founder and CEO Brandon Cornett explained. “That blend of workspace, mentorship, and talent access made it easier to focus on solving real problems for local organizations and scaling responsibly.”

Now, as they graduate from the incubator, Elevator3 leaves with a solid foundation, a proven track record, and a portfolio of milestones which include:
• 2017: Company founding and launch of initial services
• 2019: Acquisition of first major clients and team expansion
• 2020: Sustained growth to over 10 employees amid economic challenges
• 2022: Recognition as one of the Best Places to Work in Baton Rouge
• 2023: Expanded operations to include remote employees in Houston, Tex.
• 2024: Surpassed 20 employees, with over 50% graduating from Southeastern Louisiana University
• 2025: Graduation from the incubator and relocation to independent headquarters in Baton Rouge.

Ricks said Elebator3’s journey reflects the incubator’s mission — to help businesses grow, thrive, and make a lasting impact in the region.

“Incubators work when they remove friction,” said Cornett. “SLBC did that for us by providing space, mentors, and access to a pipeline of job-ready developers so we could stay focused on building products and creating local tech jobs.”

“The Southeastern Louisiana Business Center celebrates Elevator3’s graduation and looks forward to seeing how they will continue to innovate, solve problems, and elevate businesses for years to come,” Ricks said.
