The Friends of Sims Library is an organization that supports the activities and collections of the Linus A. Sims Memorial Library at Southeastern Louisiana University.
Funds generated by the organization are used to supplement the Library’s annual budget, purchase needed equipment and resources, and provide programs, lectures, author readings and signings, and other special events. Since its inception, the Friends have raised almost $60,000 dollars for Sims Library.
Friends also enjoy the satisfaction of supporting worthwhile projects and programs to enrich the Library’s educational resources. We welcome members of the University and community to become Friends of Sims Library.
