Nicole dos Ramos-Schluter is an Instructor in the Department of English and World Languages at Southeastern Louisiana University. She teaches Freshman Composition (ENGL 1010 and its corequisite course) as well as American Literature (ENGL 2320). She earned her MA in English from Southeastern Louisiana University, where her studies emphasized American literature, writing pedagogy, and connections between personal narrative and broader cultural themes. In the classroom, she focuses on guiding students to strengthen their writing through revision, close reading, and engagement with diverse literary voices. Her teaching emphasizes practical writing skills that support students’ academic and professional goals, while also encouraging reflection on the role of literature in shaping identity and community.
