Dr. Sang Lee is a Professor of Economics in the Department of Management and Business Administration at Southeastern Louisiana University, where he has also served as Department Head. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Florida in 1999 and joined the Southeastern faculty the same year. Dr. Lee teaches Managerial Economics, Microeconomics, Principles of Economics, Industrial Economics, and Business Strategy at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
His research focuses on telecommunications and economic development, with publications in high-impact journals including the American Journal of Health Economics, Industrial and Corporate Change, and Applied Economics. Dr. Lee has authored 30 research articles across 20 peer-reviewed journals, presented over 50 papers at professional conferences, and contributed seven instructor ancillaries for major college economics textbooks.
Dr. Lee’s teaching and research combine rigorous economic analysis with practical applications, preparing students to understand and address real-world business and policy challenges.
