About:
Dr. Zimlich is an Instructor of Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics. He holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Southeastern Louisiana University and a Master’s of Education in Secondary Mathematics from Alabama A&M University. He received a Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics from The University of West Alabama.
Teaching Focus:
College Algebra and Applied Algebra
Dr. Zimlich’s dissertation is a Study of the Perceptions of Rural High School Principals Regarding Attitude and Preparedness in Fostering School, Family, and Community Partnerships in Louisiana. He continues to be interested in mentorship, micro-community building, and student motivation.
