Supply Chain Management Major Scholarship

Southeastern Louisiana University, in partnership with several donor corporations across the State of Louisiana, is excited to offer qualified students a $1,000 Scholarship to attend Southeastern and major in supply chain management.

Degrees in supply chain management are in high demand, and companies are seeking college graduates that understand logistics, operations management, planning and forecasting, sourcing, systems integration, and data analytics. These jobs have been identified as five-star jobs by the Louisiana Workforce Commission, and average starting pay is higher than most other college majors.

If you are a high school student who wants a career where you will work with people from around the world, are always learning something new, and will play an important role within a business or non-profit organization, speak to your school counselor today about majoring in supply chain management and learn how to obtain a scholarship to help you earn your degree at Southeastern.

Scholarship Requirements

  1. High school student with cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  2. A well-written student essay with application that explains interest in supply chain management as a career (1,000 word minimum)
  3. Registered student at Southeastern and supply chain management major
  4. Agreement to act as a high school ambassador and promote supply chain management as a major

 

There are a limited number of scholarships that are available each year, and scholarships will be awarded after a review of all applications by a selection committee composed of Southeastern faculty.

Scholarships are also available to existing Supply Chain majors in their junior year of study.
