About

Education Degrees at Southeastern

Students in the Education programs at Southeastern develop effectiveness in communication, leadership and other skills necessary for teaching across the various areas and grade ranges of PK through 12 education. The curriculum requires a solid background of child development and instructional methodology for students as well as essential content courses in math, science and the humanities, varying by age and grade ranges. A strong emphasis is placed on relevant field experiences throughout the program, and students gain the knowledge, skills and dispositions needed to have a positive impact on student achievement.
