Quality Matters @ Southeastern
Southeastern uses the Quality Matters 7th Edition rubric to ensure the quality of
online courses. Faculty members submit courses through our internal review system,
and those courses are evaluated based on a standardized rubric designed for online
and hybrid courses. Southeastern has a team of eLearning Ambassadors who represent
all colleges across campus. These Ambassadors are experienced faculty members who
evaluate courses after going through extensive training on the rubric and learning
best practices so they deliver the best evaluation possible. Our team of Ambassadors
receive multiple trainings each year to remain current with up-to-date best practices
and standards in online learning.
