PRIDE Educator Preparation Program

Lion pride logo

PRIDE isn’t just our office’s or program’s name – it’s our mission.

P stands for Preparation – getting residents and interns ready for the classroom with the skills and knowledge they need.

R is for Readiness – ensuring residents and interns are fully equipped to handle any teaching situation.

I represents Innovation – we want residents and interns to bring fresh, creative ideas to education.

D means Development – an educator’s growth as a professional never stops.

E is for Excellence – we expect and support the highest standards in everything our residents and interns do.

The mission of Southeastern’s PRIDE Educator Preparation Program Office (PRIDE Office) is to provide authentic clinical experiences for aspiring teachers to observe and interact with educational stakeholders, including educators, students, site administration, and support personnel in diverse school and community settings.
