If you are already admitted for the fall semester, you can begin taking classes at Southeastern this summer. You can take up to 6 hours (typically 2 classes) at a very low cost. By starting in the summer, you will be able to take advantage of two programs that reduce your cost: the Summer Scholars program that waives tuition for up to 6 hours and the Summer Smart savings which discounts your costs an additional $300.
High school students may apply for the Southeastern Scholars Program to attend classes during the summer.
Scholarships are available for part-time enrollment for qualified students who participate in this early admissions opportunity. These scholarships for high school students are in addition to the reduced cost for the summer semester classes. This allows you to get a head start on your college career at a significantly reduced cost.
Students from other universities can also take advantage of the Summer Smart Savings! Those wanting to attend Southeastern for the summer semester and then return to their home institution must submit an official transcript or an official letter showing good academic standing from the college or university currently attending.
