Fall Semester Part-Time Job Fair

The approach of the fall semester brings many students who are in need of good part-time employment opportunities while in school. This FREE event is a great opportunity for you to Hire a Lion by recruiting qualified Southeastern students to fill those important job openings that you have within your organization.

The Fall Part-Time Job Fair is perfect for employers who have multiple temporary, ongoing part-time jobs or internship needs. This casual recruiting event will be held outside, under our covered Student Union Breezeway, one of the highest walking traffic locations on our campus. Students will attend between classes, dressed in typical relaxed college attire. Due to the informal nature of this event, students are unlikely to have a resume. 

Please Note: The Fall Part-Time Job Fair is not affiliated with Business Day, also known as "Gettin' Bizzy in the Union," which is a non-recruiting event sponsored by the Campus Activities Board.

Summer 2021 Part-Time Job Fair

The Summer Part-Time Job Fair was held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021.This FREE event was the perfect way for employers to connect with Southeastern students to fill those important job openings within their organization!

Fall 2020 Virtual Part-Time Job Fair
The Virtual Part-Time Job Fair was held on Wednesday, September 9, 2020. This FREE event was a great opportunity for employers to Hire a Lion by recruiting qualified Southeastern students to fill important job openings within their organization.   
 
Employers were able to interact with students
on the day of the Part-Time Job Fair through:
 
  • 30-minute group sessions where employers could address a group of up to 50 students to introduce their company, job offerings, characteristics of an ideal student worker, and answer student questions live. (Employers are allowed a max of 3 of these sessions during the fair.)

  • 10-minute one-on-one sessions that were set up by the employer prior to the fair. Employers were able to set as many of these open slots as they wanted for the duration of the fair, and however many registered employees they had available to meet with students. Students were able to schedule 1:1 meetings with the employer based on their open 10 minute slots.
