Recruitment

Member organizations of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, Inc.(NPHC) conduct recruitment drives individually throughout the academic year. Membership selection into the NPHC chapters is commonly referred to as the “intake” process. Each NPHC member organization has its own specific intake process that may vary in time, content, and expense.

The NPHC chapters on the campus of Southeastern Louisiana University do not recruit first semester freshmen. Most chapters expect potential members to have a minimum of 12 hours of collegiate credit earned and a grade point average of 2.5 or better along with other organization specific requirements.  While overall requirements may vary from chapter to chapter Southeastern Louisiana University does require all potential new members, regardless of desired chapter affiliation, to have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and be enrolled full time.

Students interested in joining one of the chapters of the Southeastern Louisiana University National Pan-Hellenic Council are encouraged to contact that organization directly or to contact the Office for Student Engagement.

Please email Darius Woodfork, NPHC Advisor, [email protected] with any questions about make-up informationals or new member process timelines.
