Southeastern welcomes students back for the start of classes this week while we continue to keep all faculty, staff and students who are not yet able to make it to campus in our thoughts as the region works to recover from devastating flooding.

We attempted to reach ALL our students in recent days, but we realize communication has been difficult, if not impossible for some. If you are just now able to see this message, please contact enrollmentservices@southeastern.edu so we can have a better understanding of your status and work with you so you can attain your educational goals.

English Language Learning

Southeastern offers an Intensive English Language Learning Program for students who wish to improve their proficiency in the English language. There are two avenues for students to complete the program.

Students who wish to take the courses for university credit must be admitted to the university as a beginning freshman or transfer student. They must also submit the online application and pay the $30 application fee.

Students who wish to enter the non-credit program should submit the paper application to the International Services Office. The application can be downloaded here. These students must also submit the financial statement of support if an I-20 is required to obtain the F-1 student visa. A student who enters the non-credit program must complete the Mastery before applying to the university for an academic degree.

For details on Southeastern's English Language Learning Programs, please see the Department of Languages and Communication's web page.
