Description of Organization: The Southeastern Louisiana University Fishing Team will be focusing on Bass fishing
and competing in tournaments across the United States. We will be competing in the MLF, ACA, and BASS tournaments and if qualified the National Championships. Our group is open to all wanting to join, even if the individual does not want to compete in the tournaments. We will have monthly meetings in which all members are required to attend. It would help them gain the skills and knowledge they need to battle their mental health while trying to navigate through college. Although I know we have the University counseling center, most people are afraid to go ask for help professionally. This would be a great opportunity for many of us to come forward and see that they are not going through this illness alone.
