Citation Appeals
Any student, faculty, or staff member who wishes to appeal a parking or traffic citation must submit their appeal online through the Parking Portal within ten (10) calendar days of the citation issue date. Appeals may be submitted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and are reviewed by the Parking Appeal Review Committee.
Appeals should only be submitted if there are valid grounds to contest the citation. Appeals must focus on circumstances where the citation was issued in error. While all appeals are considered, if the facts indicate a violation of university parking regulations, the appeal will likely be denied—regardless of the explanation or excuse provided. The purpose of the appeal process is not to challenge the fairness of the regulations, but to determine whether a violation occurred.
