All Southeastern Louisiana University students are invited to participate in training related to military cultural competence and supporting military and veteran students on campus. Together Strong is an interactive role-play simulation that builds understanding and appreciation of the challenges faced by student veterans and prepares students to lead real-life conversations with student veterans. In the simulation, students assume the role of a peer and talk with three virtual student veterans. Students get to try different approaches to see what works best. The learning objectives of the Together Strong training are:
Students who complete the online Together Strong training will receive a certificate of completion.
