Academic Support

Learning Sessions

The TLC offers two types of learning sessions: Tutoring and PASS (Peer Assisted Study Sessions). Tutoring sessions are for your problem based classes such as accounting, chemistry, math and physics. PASS are designed for lecture based classes like biology and psychology. These sessions are designed for students who want to develop more effective study strategies. Appointments are necessary for both tutoring and PASS. These sessions are free.

Embedded Tutoring

The TLC will provide Embedded Tutoring sessions for various chemistry courses. Embedded Tutors are CRLA certified tutors who attend the chemistry class. They provide 2 or more outside group tutoring sessions for the assigned class. These sessions are free and no appointment is necessary. There is no Embedded Tutoring for the summer.
