Hey! I’m Emma Martin, a graduate student starting my first semester. I’m majoring in Education for curriculum and instruction, and my concentration is in English as a second language. After Graduating, I plan to teach abroad in Spain for a year to immerse myself in another culture and language. After teaching, I plan to teach in Louisiana, preferably 4th grade. My hobbies include swimming, going thrifting (I love finding new outfits), and hanging out with my friends. My philosophy is to create an effective learning environment that fosters the improvement of others’ learning abilities. I hope to carry this into all of what I do for the rest of my career. 

Hi! I am Sydney Salassi, a third-semester graduate student majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders. After Graduating, I plan on working with pediatrics in a school or hospital setting. I love to read in my free time. My top genres are fantasy and romance, of course! One of my favorite study methods is to record myself reading the notes aloud and listen to them as I drive to school. It is an effortless way to get extra study time in while doing something you have to do, like driving.

Hi! I’m Emily Lidikay, a graduate student starting my first semester. I’m majoring in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. After graduating, I plan to work in a clinical setting while also earning my PhD in Counseling.

My hobbies include thrifting/ antiquing, needlepointing, going to the beach, and listening to podcasts!

At Tinsley, I want to focus on a community where everyone feels confident and included. I always say: it’s not that you have to do something, it’s that you get to! A positive mindset makes all the difference!!!
