Hendrick Foster

(B.S. in Health and Physical Education, 2019) was recognized as the 2020-2021 Teacher of the Year at Capitol Middle Magnet School, Baton Rouge [February 2021]

James Carruth

(B.S. in Health and Physical Education, 2015) a teacher at Chahta-Ima Elementary School in St Tammany Parish), was awarded a $10,000 grant from the National Fitness Foundation. His proposal focused on promoting cross-curricular learning, using pedometers, stethoscopes, human body diagrams, and developmentally-appropriate equipment to increase physical activity while learning concepts in science, math, language, and nutrition. Taylor Rosson

(B.S. in Health and Physical Education, 2019) was named Teacher of the Month at Seventh Ward Elementary School. [January 2021]

Sarah Fryoux and Jacob Fryoux

(B.S. Athletic Training, 2016) and (B.S. Athletic Training, 2014) completed the Doctorate in Physical Therapy program at St. Augustine University. [February 2021]
