About Psychology

Southeastern’s Department of Psychology oversees undergraduate and graduate degree programs in psychology, including a diverse range of classes in areas such as social, cognitive, personality, life-span development, clinical and abnormal, physiological, perception and evolutionary psychology.

We serve more than 500 undergraduate students and 30 graduate students with faculty who are involved in a wide range of basic and applied research on topics such as eating disorders, parenting styles, neurobiology of addiction, industrial organizational psychology, stereotyping, violence exposure effects and the evolution of religion.
