Amanda Rufini serves as an Instructor in the School of Nursing at Southeastern Louisiana University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2004 and her Master of Science in Nursing in 2013.
In acknowledgement of her passion for teaching the nursing profession, Mrs. Rufini has been nominated for the Daisy Award and has received the Mentor Recognition at Pinning Ceremony.

With a background in Critical Care Nursing, she brings extensive clinical experience to the High Acuity Lecture N 4870 and NLAB 4890. As Course Coordinator of NLAB 4880, Mrs. Rufini fosters hands on learning experiences and community outreach projects designed to prepare nursing students for meaningful work in diverse community settings. She strives to inspire her students to grow in confidence, and to serve with empathy.
Mrs. Rufini serves as member and past Chair of the School of Nursing Curriculum Committee, Faculty Advisor of the Student Nurses Association and Board Member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing, Rho Zeta Chapter.
