Brandy Williams is a Nutrition Instructor in the Department of Health and Human Sciences. She holds an MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Administration and a Master's in Human Ecology with a concentration in Human Nutrition and Food from Louisiana State University, and is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. Drawing on her firsthand experience in long-term acute care, which highlighted the crucial role of diet in patient outcomes, her teaching emphasizes the impact of nutrition and lifestyle on health and longevity, particularly for disease management and prevention.
Her primary areas of expertise and passion are nutrition and teaching. She aims to empower students to become curious, lifelong learners and equip them with critical thinking skills needed to make informed decisions about nutrition and health.
