Dr. Danielle Charrier completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2000. She later completed her Master of Science in Nursing Education at Southeastern in 2006, followed by a Doctorate degree with a dual focus in Nursing Education and Administration from William Carey University in 2014.

Dr. Charrier serves as an Associate Professor at Southeastern Louisiana University, teaching in the undergraduate nursing program and chairing several doctoral students in the graduate program. She is currently serving as the interim Associate Director of the School of Nursing.

With 19 years of experience in the academic setting, Dr. Charrier has developed a strong foundation in teaching, research, and leadership. In 2018, she led the development of Southeastern’s preceptorship program for graduating seniors, further demonstrating her commitment to student success. She has published multiple articles in the Journal of Nursing Education and Practice, with a focus on enhancing educational outcomes and supporting nursing students.

Dr. Charrier is actively involved in professional organizations including the Evidence-Based Practice Council at STHS, the Northshore District Nurses Association, the Louisiana State Nurses Association, the American Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
