Felicia T. Murret, MSN, RN, serves as Undergraduate Coordinator and Faculty Instructor in the School of Nursing. She also holds leadership roles as the LPN-BSN Program Coordinator and Faculty Coordinator for the Health Professions Living Learning Community (LLC) Program.
Ms. Murret earned her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Western Governors University and brings extensive clinical expertise in high-risk maternal-newborn nursing. In her faculty role, she primarily teaches Foundational Nursing courses and is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive learning environment that fosters critical thinking, clinical judgment, and the holistic development of future nurses.
Her dedication to nursing education has been recognized with multiple awards, including the DAISY Award for Exceptional Nurse Educators (May 2024) and the Professor of the Semester Award (May 2025), selected by the College of Nursing and Health Sciences student body and presented by the College of Nursing and Health Sciences Ambassadors Program.
Ms. Murret’s professional interests include curriculum development, innovative teaching strategies, interprofessional collaborative education, and holistic nursing education and nursing practice. She strives to lead by example and is passionate about preparing future nurses with the knowledge, skills, and compassion needed to excel in today’s complex healthcare environment.
