Dr. Jamie Graham is an instructor in the Undergraduate Nursing Program at Southeastern Louisiana University. She earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Southern University and A&M College in 2017. She brings over 20 years of emergency nursing experience to her academic role, including a decade of service as a Nurse Practitioner in a Level I Trauma Center in Baton Rouge. In this capacity, Dr. Graham provided advanced clinical care, coordinated interdisciplinary quality improvement initiatives, and developed mentoring programs for advanced practice providers.
Drawing on a career rooted in the fast-paced environment of the emergency room, she brings a wealth of real-world expertise into the classroom, preparing the next generation of nurses with both clinical competence and professional confidence. Passionate about bridging practice and education, Dr. Graham integrates evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and compassionate care into her teaching. She is dedicated to fostering a learning environment that connects theory with practice, ensuring students are well-prepared to meet the complex demands of today’s healthcare system.
