Lauren Ashley Dave, MSN, RN, is an Instructor in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Southeastern Louisiana University. Her favorite subject to teach is Pathophysiology/Pharmacology. A proud advocate for nursing education and patient-centered care, she brings extensive clinical experience from her years at Children’s Hospital of New Orleans, where she served as both a Registered Nurse and Nursing Supervisor.
Dave holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Our Lady of Holy Cross College. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, Society of Pediatric Nurses, and Oncology Nursing Society.
Her dedication to the profession has been recognized through multiple honors, most recently being named a Great 100 Nurses Honoree in 2025. She has also received the 40 Under 40 Award from the Louisiana State Nurses Association in 2024. Passionate about mentoring the next generation of nurses, Dave is actively involved in curriculum development, student advising, and university-wide initiatives supporting student success.
