Dr. Lindsay S. Domiano is Associate Professor and Department Head of the School of Nursing. She holds a PhD in Nursing Education and Administration from William Carey University (2014), a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Southeastern Louisiana University (2005), and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University (1999).
Dr. Domiano’s areas of expertise include nursing education, medical-surgical nursing, and emergency department nursing. Her scholarly interests focus on nursing education, Living Learning Communities, nursing retention, and strategies to promote NCLEX-RN success.
She has been instrumental in advancing the mission of the School of Nursing through innovative program development and academic leadership. Dr. Domiano developed and implemented the Health Professions Living Learning Community and implemented the inaugural EDGE program to support incoming freshmen. As department head, she provides leadership to more than 50 nursing faculty and has guided the School of Nursing to achieve multiple quarters with a 100 percent NCLEX-RN pass rate.
Dr. Domiano remains deeply committed to fostering student success, advancing the profession of nursing, and preparing future nurses to excel as leaders in healthcare.
