Maria Brylski is a dedicated Instructor at Southeastern Louisiana University’s School of Nursing. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in 2018. Thereafter, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2025, where she now teaches multiple courses ranging from Fundamentals of Nursing to Clinical Practice Competency Labs.
In her current role, Brylski applies her passion for teaching and mentorship as a nurse educator. She is committed to bridging classroom concepts with real-world applications to deepen student understanding. In all of her classes, Brylski strives to foster a supportive and engaging learning environment that empowers students to grow in both confidence and competence.
Her clinical experience includes intensive care unit (ICU) and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) nursing, where she refined her skills in high-acuity care, advanced monitoring, and collaborative practice. Her academic experience includes involvement in a United States Department of Labor grant and serving as the Skills Lab Coordinator, roles that strengthened her passion for teaching and student success and ultimately paved the way for her current position.
