Megan Danna earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a concentration in Nursing Education from Southeastern Louisiana University. She specializes in pediatric nursing and actively practices as a pediatric flex pool nurse at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital.
Dedicated to preparing future nurses, she emphasizes the unique challenges and rewards of caring for pediatric populations, combining her academic expertise with real-world clinical experience.
A proud Southeastern alumna, former cheerleader, and past Cheer Coach, Professor Danna brings her Lion Pride into everything she does—both in the classroom and beyond. Geaux Lions and Lion Up!
Area of Expertise
At Southeastern, Instructor Danna is the course coordinator for NURS 475: Pediatric Nursing (Lecture) and teaches NLAB 477: Pediatric Nursing (Clinical), in addition to leading skills labs as needed. She also serves as the ExamSoft Lead for the nursing faculty, supporting innovation and excellence in student assessment.
