Pamela Black is an Instructor of Nursing at Southeastern Louisiana University with a Master’s of Science in Nursing. Additionally, she is certified in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She brings over 30 years of nursing experience and over 25 years in nursing education to Southeastern. She began her career as an ICU nurse and later expanded her expertise in pediatrics, NICU, and outpatient surgery. Pamela is enthusiastic about educating new nursing students and is dedicated to guiding them through their collegiate years. Her favorite subjects to teach are Pathophysiology and Pharmacology. She enjoys connecting varied and complex concepts in these subject areas to current nursing practice. She is a lifelong learner and enjoys educating future nurses.
