Patrick Gipson is a Lecturer of English currently teaching Freshman Composition. His formal education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and a Master of Arts in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from Southeastern Louisiana University. In 2023 he was awarded the Division for Student Affairs Distinctive Service Award for his work supporting students outside of the classroom and in 2018 was recognized by the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice for his work with that department’s internship program.
