Rebecca Willingham is an Instructor of Nursing. She has a post-master’s degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner which she earned from the University of South Alabama and holds a board certification. She also has a Master of Science in Nursing in Education as well as a Bachler’s of Science in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University. Prior to teaching at Southeastern Louisiana University, she also taught at Northshore Technical Community College in the Licensed Practical Nursing curriculum. Currently, her areas of focus include mental health, both didactive and clinical applications. Primary clinical practice after obtaining her bachelor's degree was in post-surgical areas of care.
Ms. Willingham areas of expertise include education and curriculum development as well as being a provider of psychiatric and mental health care, licensed in the state of Louisiana. Currently her practice includes outpatient primary mental healthcare and forensic care within the state’s prison system.
