Dr. Wade Smith is an associate professor of educational leadership, specializing in the training and preparation of school administrators. His research focuses on the nexus between the critical components of an effective school, i.e., a school that is safe, where students learn, and where an enjoyable work environment is maintained. Before joining the faculty, Dr. Smith served as principal, director, and superintendent in schools, most recently at the University High Laboratory School. He also serves as an expert witness on court cases involving student safety.
