Taylor Reeves is an Instructor in the School of Nursing at Southeastern Louisiana University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2015 and her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2021, where she now teaches a range of courses including Fundamentals of Nursing lecture and clinical, as well as Adult Health and other core nursing courses among other courses if needed.
Reeves’s teaching philosophy centers on helping students provide holistic nursing care while fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. She emphasizes the development of critical thinking and clinical judgment, preparing students to become compassionate, competent, and confident nurses.
Since joining the faculty, Reeves has been recognized for her commitment to excellence in nursing education, earning a nomination and award as a DAISY Award Honoree for Nurse Educators.
Her academic expertise lies in Fundamentals of Nursing and Adult Health, while her clinical background is rooted in Pediatric Emergency Nursing, where she has extensive bedside experience since 2015.
