La cambiale di matrimonio by Gioacchino Rossini is a one-act comedic farce that is sure to bring laughter and cheer to all who attend. Sir Tobias Mill, a wealthy English merchant, has promised his daughter, Fanny, to a very wealthy Canadian merchant named Slook. Once Slook finds out that Fanny is in love with another, he joins forces with Fanny and the household staff to make sure Sir Tobias Mill fails in his scheme.
