The origin of becoming is vibrant in the Southeastern Louisiana University Wind Symphony’s second concert. Mennin’s Canzona is a blast from the past that pays tribute to the music of the Baroque style, while Shawn Okpebholo’s work Heritage pays tribute to the West African Culture. Award Winning Composer, James M. Stephenson will be in residence for this concert, with the Wind Symphony performing several of his new works.
